I’ve been wanting to do something with this pose for a while now- why not slap the boys in there? Done!

Citrus Con ’24 Miniprint
If you were at Citrus Con this weekend (tickets are already available for next year if you weren’t) you may have spotted me working on this in one of the stream chats! This is the miniprint that’ll go out with all CC orders tomorrow.
(Though if a patron wanted one, I could probably be convinced to slip it in to your order… Wink wonk.)
PITCH: Our Bodies, In Babylon
Earlier this year I was invited to a fairy-tale themed anthology via my editor at Filthy Figments. Originally planned for October we ended up moving it to next year. Regardless: I wanted to show off the pitch I came up with for this! I like it a lot!! Very excited to work on this next year. Art and summary below the cut.
Real Change Pride/Keep Seattle Weird covers
I was recently pinged to do the Pride edition cover of Real Change, a local magazine I’ve worked with before. They were looking for something to accompany their theme of resisting the corporatization of Pride here in Seattle, and if there’s one thing I love to draw more than dudes banging it’s a bunch of weird little guys.
The top is representations of the events climbing out of a book (since we have so many book events- the antique book fair, the newer art book fair, Shortrun, etc) and the second is the same idea but each one is slotted together like a jigsaw puzzle.
It might be difficult to parse at a tiny size, but the stuff I’ve included in both is:
-The center of the universe sign
-Farmers markets (veggies/fruits/plants/etc)
-Nude cyclist for the Solstice Fair
-Flags for Pride
-Puppet mascot from the puppet slam at Theater Off Jackson
-Bunraku tiger from Thistle Theater
-Books/zines (the top one includes Frank by Jim Woodring, local cartoonist)
-Hotdog from one of the Hump! covers
-Cameras in general for our multiple film festivals here
-Fremont Troll
-Queer Cowboy Show, also from TOJ
-Seattle Independent Bookstore Day
-Framed art for our multiple Art Walk events
-Big quilt from Folklife
Honestly I could’ve rattled off more weird things but not all of them really work in miniature.
