6.19.18 WIPs
In my schedule I have specific days designated for tasks- thumbnailing days, inking days, etc. I’ve started putting a general purpose illustration day on there so I can work on… actually finishing illustrations. My particular problem is that I start something, have to go work on a deadline, come back in a month, hate what I’ve worked on, start over, etc etc etc. Hopefully this’ll fix that…?
Two wips today, one under the cut as it’s super NSFW.
I’m going to flip the background in this one so the shower is coming from the left side and the corner of the stall is in the right… one of the downsides of constantly flipping work is you can really bungle composition if you aren’t paying attention.
EDIT: note to self, change hair to dreads or thicker curls, that’s way more visually interesting.

I’ve been warming up on work days using a combo of line-of-action.com and Flickr’s creative commons section for life drawings. I was originally doing all of these traditionally (scanning all of those is gonna be… a feat), but since I pencil almost exclusively digitally these days I figured it’d probably be good to get more practice in that way.
I also got an iPad recently (still waiting on the pen in the mail) so I’m not trapped inside when I need to pencil comic pages! Seattle summers are exceptionally nice so I want to get my vitamin D in before we have to go back to the sun setting at 3pm. 8^)
